Shouldn’t home seller have right to make sure house listed on MLS?

When you’re selling your house, who owns the information? “Information,” you ask, “what information?” The information about your house — the fact that it’s for sale, the price, the number of bedrooms, its location … everything about your house. Who owns that information, and why does it matter?
