Animal ‘guests’ enjoy special treatment at Loveland pet kennel

LOVELAND –Creature Comforts Pet Retreat boasts of being the “only five-paw kennel in Loveland.” And guests can only hope their humans will be as pampered while they are away!

The story, though, is in how Marcy Haire turned a 30-year-old, run-down, write-off of a kennel into a paying proposition in her first year of business.

With a four-year degree in veterinary technology, including research in boarding kennels plus more than a decade of work in animal research at Yale and Colorado State universities, Haire still could not find a banker willing to loan…
