Sylvan Ventures expands holdings with purchase

Sylvan Ventures is in the process of expanding its education empire with the pending acquisition of a Fort Collins-born company.

Sylvan Ventures, a division of Sylvan Learning Systems Inc., is in the process of buying the National Technological University. Sylvan said the change in ownership won’t change the school’s current curriculum except to add to it.

“NTU has a very high-quality program that is meeting the needs of its students,´ said Steve Drake, vice president of communications for Sylvan Learning Systems. “We plan to build on the existing program.”
