Boulder Labs protects wireless networks from hackers, identity theft

BOULDER — Recently installed a wireless network at your business? Congratulations. Now, are you sure you know exactly who your network reaches?

?A lot of people don’t understand (the use of) electromagnetic radiation, but a wireless network is not that much different than radio,? said Bob Gray, founder of Boulder Labs (www.boulderlabs.com). Which is to say that wireless networks, while on a different spectrum from either broadcast or two-way radio signals, have the same qualities as signals on those bands.

And chief among those qualities is, who can hear that signal is extremely difficult to control.
