Two duel for control over Wireless Depot

FORT COLLINS — The two men who tried to save Phone Connection Inc. in December 2000 are now trading blows and might end up in court with a creditor who said he intends to file suit.

Lawyer David Miller and then-CFO Craig Auer started Wireless Depot Inc. one day after Phone Connection filed for bankruptcy. With the help of creditors, they bought the Phone Connection leases for nine locations in Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley and Longmont. At first the company had 60 employees but later dropped to 45, Miller said.
