More businesses join effort for clean environment
BOULDER — Partners for A Clean Environment certified another 19 businesses in 2001, bringing the total number of Boulder County businesses trying to reduce hazardous materials and pollution from their routine operations to 124.
Dental offices and food producers made up the bulk of the new participants, but auto shops and manufacturers also joined the program. IBM Boulder, Bishop & Takemoto Dentistry, Fuji Motors and Belgium Bakery are among the newly certified businesses.
