Infant-care workshops available to teen-age moms

BOULDER – A series of monthly workshops on infant care and the English language is being offered to Spanish-speaking teen-age mothers and pregnant teen-agers through January.

The free workshops, sponsored by the Boulder Valley Rotary Club and Genesis, will focus on educating teens about infant nutrition, infant health, bonding and related issues. Each workshop will include English language training.

The project is being funded by a grant from the Rotary International Foundation.

The next workshop will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the People’s Clinic, 3303 N. Broadway. Subsequent workshops are tentatively scheduled for Dec. 4 and Jan. 8.
