Therapeutic Riding Center seeks volunteers

LONGMONT — The Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center in Longmont is looking for volunteers.

Therapeutic riding is a complex form of therapy that produces physical, psychological, social and educational benefits. The center specializes in helping children and adults with disabilities through horseback riding.

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available. Ring volunteers work directly with riders and horses, but there are also opportunities to take care of the horses, maintain the facility and assist with administrative tasks. The center runs only with volunteer help. To volunteer, call (303) 652-9131.
