Fastest-growing firms brick-and-mortar breed, downplay dot-com hype
Six months beyond the hype of Y2K, many area companies wear last year’s dot-com frenzy like an old hat. The boom of 1999, however, did not begin and end on the Web.
The annual Boulder County Business Report’s list of Boulder County’s fastest-growing private companies (ranked by revenue increase from 1998 to 1999) revealed that the boom far from bypassed the brick-and-mortar world.
