Workplace changes ahead for Hewlett-Packard

FORT COLLINS — Hewlett-Packard Company is preparing for a cultural change.

Faced with a corporate mandate to cut $1 billion in infrastructure costs during the next three years, HP’s 585 locations around the world are consolidating real estate, redesigning office space and redefining where and how their employees do business.

In Northern Colorado, the decision to shut down the Greeley plant and move its 640 employees to Fort Collins was the first step in that direction.
