Lending groups collaborate

CLS, CEF work together to aid small-business owners


Mention business lending, and images of intimidating suits, lengthy applications and fierce competition frequently come to mind. Rarely does the spirit of collaboration enter into the industry stereotype, but for small businesses across the Front Range, things may be changing.

The Colorado Enterprise Fund and Colorado Lending Source, both based in Denver, have worked to aid small-business owners for years. CEF works primarily with companies in the early stages of development, while CLS deals mainly with business owners who need funding for expansion.
