NTU names new president
FORT COLLINS — The National Technological University named Andre G. Vacroux, dean of Southern Methodist University’s School of Engineering and Applied Science since 1990, as its president.
Vacroux will succeed Lionel V. Baldwin, the founder of NTU, as president following the 1999-2000 school year.
He will head up the largest distance learning network in the world. NTU has 1,379 receiving sites, 3,415 academic enrollments in 1998-99, and 51 content providers.
