Smart planning eases region’s growing pains
Infrastructure is the skeleton of a community. Roads, water, sewer and the like may not be sexy subjects, but they’re becoming more important as communities across Northern Colorado continue to experience unprecedented growth.
And as the area grows, so do the challenges for civil engineers.
Some say the biggest challenge takes the form of transportation, both in the quality of roads and types of travel. Others say water supply — and how it’s used — runs a close second.
