Peer counselors sought for seniors program
BOULDER — Volunteers, age 55 and over, are needed to serve as peer counselors to seniors.
Peer counselors share similar experiences and practical wisdom. They are caring people with a special ability to listen to others. Anyone interested in volunteering should apply at any Boulder county senior center. Selected applicants will receive an eight-week training and follow-up help.
Applications must be returned to Katherine Campbell at the West Boulder Senior Center, 909 Arapahoe Road, by March 21. For information call Katherine Campbell or Sandy Hollingsworth at 441-3906.
