NTU, Georgia firm sign equipment deal
FORT COLLINS – National Technological University has contracted with Wegener Corp. of Duluth, Ga., for digital video transmission and receiving equipment.
The value of the contract was not revealed.
The equipment will be used in NTU’s distance-learning satellite network and will enable NTU to reach subscribers throughout the Pacific Rim.Robert Placek, president and CEO of Wegener, said, “We are very pleased to be chosen by a prestigious technical teaching organization like NTU to provide their Pacific Rim distance-learning network.”
