Internet company Oks merger with Interwest

GREENWOOD VILLAGE – Internet Communications Corp. has completed a merger with Colorado Springs-based Interwest Communications, which maintains an office in Fort Collins.
The combined company will provide customized wide-area networks and local area networks, as well as design and support for voice applications, including computer-telephony integration, and Internet and World Wide Web access.Internet Communications is traded on the National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations under the ticker symbol INCC.
As part of the merger, shareholders approved an increase in the company’s common stock from 4.5 million shares to 20 million shares to provide “greater flexibility in acting upon proposed transactions,” according to a statement released by the company.
