Fort Collins Inc. changes name, image

Fort Collins Inc., the economic development-authority in the city, has changed its name to the Fort Collins Economic Development Corp.

“The new name … better reflects the nature of our mission,´ said Roland Mower, president of the organization.

In addition to the name change, the board of directors also revised the economic development agency’s mission statement. It now reads, “The Fort

Collins Economic Development Corporation strengthens Fort Collins by supporting existing employers and recruiting new employers who create

jobs, invest capital and add vitality to our economy while enhancing our environment and lifestyle.”

A new logo also has been developed.
