Radio platform Clip Interactive raises $4M in funding
BOULDER — Clip Interactive LLC, which provides an interactive radio platform, has raised $4 million of a planned $6 million private offering.

The funding was detailed in a Regulation D filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Feb. 1. Clip’s offering includes equity, options/warrants and promissory notes convertible to equity securities, with the first sale occurring Jan. 20, 2017.

Clip was founded in 2012 and is headquartered at 3100 Carbon Place, Suite 102, in Boulder. Clip previously has completed several other fundings, including a Series A round of $6 million in 2014 and a Series B round in 2015.
Clip has created a technology platform for broadcasters, broadcast advertisers and content creators that turns audio content into interactive, rich-media digital content. One of the company’s latest offerings is Radio Connect, an app that could enable users to download music and local content from thousands of radio stations at once.
