Loveland craft distillery expands to Florida

LOVELAND – Spirit44 Distilling, a Loveland-based gin and vodka craft distillery, said it will begin selling its products in Florida.
Launched in 2011, Spirit44 sells its liquor in Colorado, New York, New Jersey and parts of Utah. The company makes its liquor with Colorado spring water and American grown wheat, corn and rye.

“We believe that American craft distilled spirits will follow a similar path of success to other categories such as beer, coffee and soda,” Spirit44 CEO Jeff Lindauer said in a statement.

Lindauer added that he hoped to gain some of the market share largely held by imported brands.
