Lake Region Medical closing Arvada facility, laying off 164 employees
Lake Region Medical, a Massachusetts-based firm that makes parts for medical-device companies, is closing its Arvada facility in a series of phases to be complete by Sept. 30.
The Denver Post reports that the closure will lead to 164 layoffs, witht the first of those occurring this week. Lake Region Medical was acquired by Greatbatch Inc. last year for $1.7 billion.
