Solar Operations and Maintenance for Commercial Properties

One key qualification to consider when selecting a solar partner to install your system is whether they have an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) or service department. Since solar is a long-term asset with an expected lifecycle of 30 plus years, ongoing O&M should be considered up front. A trusted O&M partner will maximize your system’s energy output and therefor the return on your investment.

DMC Global operates two main business segments. Its NobelClad business makes explosion-welded clad metal plates used in the manufacture of equipment for various industries. DMC’s DynaEnergetics segment, meanwhile, makes explosive components and systems used to perforate oil and gas wells.

In a Sept. 23 SEC filing explaining their rationale for the name change, DMC officials said, “We are proposing the name DMC Global Inc., as we are no longer a materials company as implied in Dynamic Materials Corporation. Rather, we are the parent company to a diversified portfolio of technical product and process businesses serving niche markets around the world.”

DMC employed 424 people at the end of 2015, including 195 in the United States.
