$3.5M Table Mesa Shopping Center face-lift to begin Monday

BOULDER — W.W. Reynolds Cos. will embark on a $3.5 million improvement project for its Table Mesa Shopping Center in Boulder beginning Monday, April 25.

The Boulder-based real estate development and property-management firm will upgrade parking lots and the irrigation system for landscaping, and will replace outdoor lighting that is expected to save on electrical and water costs. It also will create play areas with additional outdoor seating, plus adding bike parking areas.

The project will be done in six six-week-long phases and is expected to be completed by September. The first phase will renovate the parking lot that served the former Dollar Store, soon to be home to Lucky’s Market.

Solar Operations and Maintenance for Commercial Properties

One key qualification to consider when selecting a solar partner to install your system is whether they have an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) or service department. Since solar is a long-term asset with an expected lifecycle of 30 plus years, ongoing O&M should be considered up front. A trusted O&M partner will maximize your system’s energy output and therefor the return on your investment.

Table Mesa Shopping Center was built in 1962, and a series of additions were made through the 1980s.

“All the businesses in the center will remain open during the renovation, and we encourage everyone to support these businesses throughout the construction,” Luke Arrington, director of property and asset management at W.W. Reynolds, said in a prepared statement. “It is our goal to minimize disruption to customers and visitors during the renovation while improving usability and providing a completely updated look and feel for the shopping center.”

W.W. Reynolds owns, manages and/or leases more than 3 million square feet of commercial office, retail and industrial property along the Front Range.
