Swedish glove brand Hestra debuting on Pearl Street

BOULDER — Hestra, an upscale Swedish glove brand, will open its first North American retail location Nov. 1 on Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall.

“Opening on Pearl Street lets us connect directly with the community and tell the Hestra story —

one of craftsmanship and innovation — with people who share our passion for quality and the

outdoors,” Hestra North America president James Hampton said in a prepared statement. “This store is more than a retail space. It’s a place to experience our heritage, learn about glove making, and discover the perfect pair for life’s pursuits, making memories in the mountains and beyond.”

Hestra, which has its North American headquarters in Arvada, makes fashion gloves as well as performance gloves for skiing, cycling and mountaineering.

The Boulder store is located at 1126 Pearl St.
