Fire engulfs Nederland strip mall
NEDERLAND — Flames engulfed a strip mall early Thursday morning in the Boulder County mountain town of Nederland, forcing the evacuation of nearby residents, according to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.
According to The Denver Post, the fire at the Caribou Village Shopping Center, 20 Lakeview Drive, had been controlled by 6 a.m. but continued to burn. The fire fully engulfed both floors of the shopping center that includes O’Neill Rocky Mountain Art, Kaleidoscope Fine Arts Gallery, Tres Gringos restaurant, Oriental Healing Clinic and the Boulder County sheriff’s Nederland substation.
