Naturally Boulder seeks award nominees

BOULDER – Naturally Boulder is accepting nominations for its ninth annual Autumn Awards event, which recognizes achievements in the natural-products industry.

The awards are part of Naturally Boulder’s 2013 Autumn Awards & Pitch Slam Party that will be held at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the Boulder Theater, 2032 14th St., Boulder.

Awards are presented to the industry advocate group’s member companies that demonstrate significant business development and commitment to the principles of Naturally Boulder.

How dispatchable resources enable the clean energy transition

Platte River must prepare for the retirement of 431 megawatts (MW) of dispatchable, coal-fired generation by the end of the decade and address more frequent extreme weather events that can bring dark calms (periods when there is no sun or wind).

Deadline for nominations is 5 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 1.

Candidate companies, their representatives or individuals must be a member of Naturally Boulder, maintain substantial business operations within the region and Contribute significantly to the community.

Nominators may apply in multiple categories by submitting the appropriate nomination forms. Self-nomination is welcome.
