SCL names new president for Good Samaritan in Lafayette

LAFAYETTE — Dawn J. Anuszkiewicz has been named as the new president of Good Samaritan Medical Center in Lafayette, replacing Jen Alderfer, who has moved to a different position with the SCL Health organization.

Anuszkiewicz will begin with the organization Nov. 29. Alderfer was recently named president of SCL Health’s Montana region and St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings.

According to a press statement, Anuszkiewicz was chief operating officer of Reading Hospital — Tower Health, a 714-bed hospital in West Reading, Pennsylvania. Before that, she spent seven years as the CEO of Ochsner Baptist in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has spent most of her career in health care management, serving in roles ranging from director of medical education to administrator of academic services.
