South Park creators have interest in Casa Bonita

The creators of the TV show South Park say they want to buy the iconic Casa Bonita restaurant in Lakewood.

The Mexican restaurant known for its entertainment but not its food has been featured in multiple South Park episodes. It’s been closed to the public since March 2020 and filed for bankruptcy in April 2021. The Denver Post reported that the South Park creators want to “treat it right.”
