Terry Ranch project opponents seek referendum to overturn council vote

GREELEY — A group is seeking to take its bid to overturn the Greeley City Council’s approval of the Terry Ranch water project to the voters in the next municipal election.

The Greeley Tribune reports the group, Save Greeley’s Water, is looking to invalidate the raw water credits that the city is trading for rights to the aquifer. The group must collect 2,192 signatures by April 1 to place the question to a special election.
