Aspen Skiing steps up climate change campaign

ASPEN — Aspen Skiing Co. has contributed $60,000 to support political candidates around the country who would replace climate change deniers. It is encouraging other resort companies to do likewise.

The Aspen Times reported that the skiing company is concerned that there isn’t more support among outdoor enthusiasts to put their money where it needs to be to combat inattention to climate change issues.
