Bank of Colorado shifts location in Longmont after AmFirst acquisition
LONGMONT — Fort Collins-based Bank of Colorado is closing its branch at 636 Coffman St. in downtown Longmont and has opened a branch farther south at 916 S. Main St. that formerly housed an AmFirst Bank branch.
The shift in location was spurred by Bank of Colorado’s acquisition of AmFirst that was announced in March and closed earlier this month.
Bank of Colorado’s approximately 10 employees at the branch on Coffman will transfer to the new location on South Main Street, and all AmFirst employees at that branch will be retained, said David Finkelstein, a spokesman for Bank of Colorado. The bank will occupy the ground floor of the three-story building.

Finkelstein said an ATM Live machine will be maintained at the Coffman location, where customers can make deposits, loan and credit-card payments, transfer funds and withdraw cash, as well as talk to a live teller.
Bank of Colorado also completed the conversion of an AmFirst Bank branch at the Denver Tech Center, 5201 S. Yosemite St., in Greenwood Village.
