Revolar hires former Otter CEO Brian Thomas

Denver-based Revolar, a safety-tech firm, has hired former Otter Products LLC CEO Brian Thomas as its new chief executive and president.

The Denver Post reports that Thomas, who led Fort Collins-based producer of OtterBox phone and tablet cases from 2012 to 2014, replaces Revolar co-founder Jacqueline Ros, who has assumed the new role of chief community officer. Co-founder Andrea Perdoma has left the role of president to become chief marketing officer.

Revolar makes a connected personal-security device, allowing a user to send location information to a friend. The company has received funding from companies including the Boulder-based Foundry Group.
