Colorado GDP grows 5.1 percent in third quarter
Colorado ranked fourth among states nationwide in the growth rate of its gross domestic product during the third quarter of 2016.
The Denver Business Journal reports that the state’s GDP — the value of goods and services produced — grew at an annualized rate of 5.1 percent. The report cites data from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.
Colorado’s GDP growth ranked behind South Dakota, 7.1 percent; Utah, 5.8 percent; and Nevada, 5.2 percent.
