Danone acquisition of WhiteWave Foods delayed
The timeline for Denver-based WhiteWave Foods, which bases its Americas Food and Beverage segment in Broomfield, to merge with French company Danone is getting stretched out.

The deal has yet to gain regulatory approvals, though the Camera notes that it is unclear what effect an organic industry watchdog’s complaint filed in August that the merger is bad for the U.S. organic milk industry might be having on the delays.
