Craftsy lays off 24 as it scales back video production

Layoffs at fast-growing Denver firm Craftsy prove that the Front Range’s burgeoning tech industry isn’t immune to setbacks.

The Denver Post reports that Craftsy — which makes educational videos and sells materials for crafts like quilting, cake decorating and knitting — has laid off 24 people who help produce the videos, a move that follows a round of 32 layoffs last October.
