Canopy Boulder accelerator grad Glasshous opens ‘online head shop’

BOULDER — A graduate of a Boulder-based cannabis-industry startup accelerator launched Monday to sell marijuana-related accessories over the Internet.

Billing itself as an “online head shop.” Los Angeles-based Glasshous was co-founded by Devin Concannon and John Kalis. The company hopes to capitalize on the U.S. cannabis industry’s 74 percent growth in 2014 and the 19 percent growth rate of online retail worldwide, according to a media statement.

Glasshous is one of 10 members of CanopyBoulder’s spring class. CanopyBoulder is a seed-stage, mentorship-driven business accelerator for companies developing ancillary products and services for the legal cannabis industry.
