Building begins on Interlocken apartments

BROOMFIELD – Construction has started on a 424-unit apartment community in the Interlocken area of Broomfield.

Camden USA Inc., a Houston-based developer and operator of multifamily communities, is building the development on an 18.9-acre site at 120 Edgeview Drive. The property is near the eastern border of Interlocken, near the junction of U.S. Highway 36 and Wadsworth Parkway.

The community, to be named Camden Flatirons, will have units spread between five four-story buildings. Permits for the project were issued in November, and crews have begun working on the property. Camden Development Inc. is the primary contractor.
