Stifel Nicolaus to quit Fort Collins

Stifel Nicolaus & Company Inc., a national securities brokerage firm, will close its Fort Collins office by December 31 and consolidate operations into the firm’s other Colorado locations.

Scott McCuaig, president of the company’s private client group, said the five Fort Collins employees have the option of relocating to Englewood or Denver. “They have until the end of the year to decide where they’d like to go,” he said.
