Employer Friendly Posting Sites

I like to post my openings in order to attract talent without costing the organization an arm and a leg. One thing that really frustrates me is how DIFFICULT many organizations make it for a recruiter to post jobs on their websites. I am trying to help your constituents and connect with talent. But I cannot deal with overly complex posting processes.

Some of the worst include CareerRam or RamWeb at CSU and NoCoNet (go figure!). It makes no sense to me that these organizations wouldn’t get their job posting service together.

The BEST of the BEST:

  • Craig’s List – I have made two great hires off Craig’s List in recent months AND good old Craig makes it super easy to post jobs. It takes about two minutes to upload job openings.
  • SPONSORED CONTENT

  • LinkedIn – It is easy and very affordable.
  • Indeed – They still have some kinks to work out but it is fast, cheap and easy to post jobs.
  • Connecting Colorado – This used to be way hard but in recent years the Larimer County Workforce Center has made it super easy for employers to post openings. The customer service is exceptional and the response from candidates makes it worth the effort.

If you are a member of a professional association that posts jobs for its members or a student at a college or university, you should insist that the organization become EMPLOYER FRIENDLY.
