Dry, warm, windy weather may force power shutoffs Wednesday
A forecast for high winds, coupled with more than a week of unseasonably warm and dry conditions, may force Xcel Energy to shut off electric power in many areas along the Front Range beginning at noon Wednesday to reduce the risk of wildfire.
