Panorama Eyecare spins off LASIK division, partners with Broncos

FORT COLLINS – Panorama Eyecare, a physician-led management services organization, has spun off a LASIK division called Panorama LASIK that will be the LASIK partner of the Denver Broncos.

LASIK, an acronym for laser-assisted in-situ keratomileusis, is a type of refractive eye surgery that reshapes the cornea and is used to improve visual acuity by curing astigmatism and treating myopia and hyperopia.

The procedures will be performed at Panorama’s Eye Center of Northern Colorado, 6125 Sky Pond Drive in Loveland, as well as at Boulder Eyes, 1810 30th St., Suite B, in Boulder and a center in Denver.

Panorama’s LASIK team includes eight surgeons and staff with plans for adding additional vision-correction centers and partners.

“The formation of Panorama LASIK gives us a tremendous opportunity to continue our growth, expand our physician network and improve access to our premium patient experience and premium LASIK services,” said Marcello Celentano, chief executive of Panorama Eyecare, in a media release. “Our partnership with the Denver Broncos will allow us to introduce Panorama LASIK to Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region while supporting our hometown team.”

Panorama LASIK will make its marketing debut as the Broncos’ LASIK partner of the National Football League team’s first preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday.

“The Denver Broncos are proud and excited to align with Panorama LASIK,” said Darren O’Donnell, the Broncos’ vice president for business development, in the media release. “Given the scale and presence of Panorama Eyecare here in the Rocky Mountain Region, we know that Broncos Country has great coverage for LASIK with this Colorado-based organization. We are excited to begin this journey with Panorama as our proud hometown partner in LASIK.”

As part of its formation and plan for strategic growth, Panorama in July acquired Boulder Eyes / Beyer LASIK, which was founded by board-certified ophthalmologist Dr. Craig F. Beyer, who is fellowship trained in corneal and refractive surgery. Beyer will transition his patients’ care to new providers Sam Long and Summer Lara at the Boulder Eyes location. It previously also bought Boulder Eye Surgeons, 4745 Arapahoe Ave., Suite 100 in Boulder; Windsor Eye Care & Vision Center, 515 Main St. in Windsor; and four other locations in the Denver area and Cheyenne, Wyoming.

In total, Panorama Eyecare has 13 locations and more than 500 team members.
