CBRE appoints Kruger to director for Colorado operations

DENVER — CBRE Inc., the commercial real estate firm, has named Katie Kruger to the position of market leader and senior managing director for the real estate company’s five Colorado offices.

Kruger’s appointment begins Nov. 22. In her role, she will oversee all advisory lines of business in the state, including leasing, sales, debt and structured finance, valuation and property management. The company’s five offices are in downtown Denver, the Denver Tech Center, Boulder, Colorado Springs and Fort Collins. 

Kruger has served for nine years as CEO of the Denver Metro Commercial Association of Realtors. Under her leadership, the association increased revenue and membership 50% and 40%, respectively, ultimately becoming the largest local commercial real estate industry group in the U.S. with 2,000 members.  

At CBRE, she replaces Pete Schippits, who was promoted to regional president, West Region, for CBRE in August.
