Congruex passes $100M in fundraising total with $48M haul

BOULDER  — Congruex LLC has closed on a $48,885,681 fundraising round, blasting past the $100 million mark in its fundraising over its lifetime.

The Boulder-based telecom engineering company started the fundraising round July 30 from six separate investors, according to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Congruex has been aggressive in both raising capital and acquiring firms across the country since being founded in 2016 and its majority stake acquisition by New York private equity firm Crestview Partners a year later.

It has raised a total of $126,142,328 between four fundraising rounds reported to the SEC, and six engineering and construction firms from California to Georgia in a geographically wide buying spree. Its most recent fundraising effort, which closed July 2 for a total of $26,514,992, was connected with the purchase of McHenry, Illinois-based Terra Technologies LLC.
