Amazon leases space in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS — Amazon has plans to add several hundred workers to a temporary fulfillment center that will become permanent.

The Gazette reported that the company signed a lease with the city of Colorado Springs for space at the city airport for a modular delivery center.  The property is south of the passenger terminal at the airport.

Amazon has operations in several cities in the state, including Thornton, Aurora and Boulder as well
