LOUISVILLE — Commuting Solutions, a Lousiville-based transportation solutions firm, was awarded the Excellence in Advocacy award for its project “Transportation Matters” by the Association for Commuter Transportation.
Commuting Solutions joined a broad coalition of public and private partners earlier this year to launch the “Transportation Matters” initiative. The project was designed to ensure funding and the vision for the Northwest Metro Region’s multimodal future for communities along U.S. 36. Commuting Solutions co-hosted several town halls with the U.S. 36 Mayors and Commissioners Coalition to help communities look at the shortfalls and transportation needs for the region.
