Colorado Springs Event Center undergoes expansion
COLORADO SPRINGS – The eastside Colorado Springs Event Center is undergoing an expansion that will double the size of the venue to about 90,000 square feet and allow it to play host to additional shows and events.
The Colorado Springs Gazette reports that a second exhibition hall will be added using the vacant Albertsons next door; the two halls will be separated by walls and a ramp that will allow event-goers and exhibitors to walk from one to the other.
The new space is expected to open July 31.
