WOW! Internet files for initial public offering
DENVER — WOWI Internet, a Denver-based cable-TV and broadband company, has filed for an initial public offering with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The Denver Business Journal reports that the company — which employs about 100 at the Denver Tech Center and another 300 at a Colorado Springs call center — filed for the IPO March 24.
WOW! returned to profitability in 2016 after a couple of difficult years that included layoffs and issues with debt, according to the DBJ.
