Owner of Embassy Suites in Loveland files for bankruptcy

The owner of the Embassy Suites in Loveland expects operations to carry on as usual at its hotels despite the company’s recent bankruptcy filing.

The Reporter-Herald reports that John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts, which owns 35 hotels in the United States, has filed for bankruptcy protection in Kansas City, Kan., so the company can restructure in order to better deal with a dispute with an investor.
