Finalist for Colorado health exchange CEO withdraws

Robert Malone, selected by the board of the state’s health exchange earlier this month as the sole finalist for CEO, has withdrawn from consideration, the Denver Business Journal reports.

Malone withdrew from consideration “because of a change of heart over relocating to Colorado,” the Connect for Health Colorado board said.

Malone “this week asked to withdraw after reconsidering relocating his family to Colorado. Mr. Malone recently moved to the New York City area, where he is originally from, after his former company … was sold in January,” a board statement said.
