Triton Communities plans 88 town homes in Fort Collins

FORT COLLINS — Denver-based Triton Communities has submitted conceptual plans to build 88 town homes off East Vine Drive in northeast Fort Collins.

The town homes would be built on two tracts of vacant land totaling 10.7 acres. Forty-five town homes would be built between Wagon Trail Road and Greenfields Drive, and 43 homes would be bordered by Greenfields and Campfire drives.

The concept review is a resubmittal of a previously approved plan that expired, according to the city planning department.

In preparation for Republic Services becoming the primary provider of residential recycling, yard trimmings, and trash, residents should now select the best cart size and service schedule for their household needs.

Ken Merritt of JR Engineering in Fort Collins who is helping Triton with planning said the town homes would range in size from 1,200 to 1,500 square feet and have attached garages. Price ranges have not yet been set.

“There has been a good response from the city, and Triton is continuing its due diligence,” Merritt said.

Officials at Triton were not available Friday for comment.
