Industrial building in Boulder changes hands

BOULDER – An entity named 5660 Valmont Road LLC paid $888,000 recently to purchase the 14,000-square-foot industrial building at 5660 Valmont Road, with the intent of relocating a local business there.

The buyer bought the mostly empty building from Valmont Partnership RLLLP, a group of investors. Jim Smith of Preferred Properties in Denver represented the seller, while Chris Jensen of Vista Commercial represented the buyer in the deal.

Jensen said Friday that he couldn’t disclose details about the identity of the buyer. But he did say the owners purchased the building so they could move out of some leased space and continue to grow their business in Boulder, though no timeline is clear.
